Each class in the Prerequisite series serves as a building block to grow and expand your knowledge of Python programming, math, and statistics. No Python programming background is expected. A typical CAIA, CFA, or FRM member will have the necessary math and statistics background to successfully complete these classes.

The classes offer:

    • Checks of your understanding to ensure you are learning the material.
    • Options to repeat each module as many times as you want.

After you complete each class, you will receive a certificate from the provider. You are not required to take a test, but you must upload your certificates to your FDP Profile as proof that you took the classes.

Prerequisite Training Partners

The following third-party providers offer the training. Research each provider and select the one most aligned with your preferred learning style. Select only one provider. Each provider offers free trials for you to experience their learning platform.
