Important Program Update: With a near revolution in AI and machine learning and their implications for the financial industry, it is the right time to be taking a full inventory of our curriculum readings and learning objectives, as the relevancy of our curriculum must never be compromised.

After the April 2024 exam session closes, the administration of exams will pause while this review is taking place. The FDP Institute, its website, and educational activities such as webinars, will continue to be available. Learn more here.

* Exam registration fees do not include the cost of reading materials. We strongly recommend that Candidates act early to obtain the readings in order to allow enough study time.

** Canadian taxes will be applied where applicable.

Registration Policies

Exam registration is not open-ended. By registering for an exam, a Candidate commits to one date and time-specific exam session.
Exam registrations cannot be transferred to other individuals.
Retakes and deferrals are not available after April 2024 for Candidates who are unable to sit for their FDP exam due to late receipt of study materials, failure to secure an exam appointment at either a physical or remote location or lack of availability of a valid visa or passport.
Refunds - Enrollment fees are non-refundable. The FDP Institute will grant refunds of exam registration fees only, net of any applicable fees if refunded via bank wire, if the individual cancels the registration within 14 days of the date of the purchase. To cancel a registration and apply for a refund of the exam registration fee, the individual must email the FDP Institute at candidate@fdpinstitute.org.

Anyone can register to take the exam. The FDP Charter is awarded after a Candidate has successfully completed the FDP exam and the online certificates are submitted & verified by the FDP team.
