The FDP curriculum provides breadth and depth by requiring Candidates to complete online classes as part of the FDP Charter. In order to receive the FDP Charter, Candidates must successfully complete the FDP Exam and complete online classes covering the basics of Python or R programming. The online classes are offered by DataCamp and Udemy as approved providers. The classes can be completed before or after the FDP exam.* No programming background is required to complete the online classes. If a Candidate has some knowledge of these programming languages, the Candidate is encouraged to take more advanced Python or R programming classes at DataCamp or Udemy. If a Candidate has begun their online classes with Dataquest or Metis, please submit your certifications for evaluation . The approval of other providers or prior academic knowledge in Python or R programming is at the sole discretion of the FDP Institute, please contact us at info@fdpinstitute.org. |
