Coding Requirement - Python
The FDP Charter is a practical certification, designed to enhance the skills of industry practitioners.
In order to receive the FDP Charter, Candidates must therefore complete one of the following three options:
| Experience / Competency level in Python | Requirement for FDP Charter |
|---|---|
| Little / no experience | via DataCamp (both courses must be completed) |
| Foundational practitioner level | via DataCamp – a minimum of two Intermediate or Advanced courses from the Python catalog |
| Advanced practitioner level | If a Candidate has a verifiable academic and practitioner background in Python, they can seek an exemption from the online classes. Approval is at the sole discretion of the FDP Institute. Please contact candidate@fdpinstitute.org to learn more about this option. |
Important notes
- No programming knowledge / experience is required to complete the entry-level online classes.
- The classes can be completed before or after attempting the FDP exam.
- There are no Python programming questions on the exam.
Submit Your Certificates
Once you have completed the required courses, you must download the relevant Certificates from DataCamp & submit to the FDP Institute via this form.
A Premium subscription with DataCamp is required to download Certificates
