A brief introduction:
Hello Everyone! My name is René Hey.
I began my career in the finance industry 9 years ago, starting as a Statistician for Insurance and Pension Funds. After 4.5 years I moved to the Banking Supervision Department where I had the opportunity to focus more on data analytics tasks. I recently started working as an IT auditor.
Why did I take up the FDP challenge?
I pursued the FDP designation for two reasons: since the curriculum is focused and relevant, the first one is benefiting from a useful tool set, the second one is being part of a great community.
What is great about FDP:
Through the FDP curriculum, I learned to choose the right method for analytical tasks and to be able to understand complex concepts.
The biggest value for me is the opportunity to interact with other Charterholders.
My advice for aspiring industry professionals:
Find a balance between learning efficiently for the exam and dive deeper into topics of your choice.
