The Financial Data Professional Institute’s ultimate mission is to provide financial professionals who wish to upgrade their skill sets in the rapidly developing areas of big data, machine learning and data analytics with an accessible and yet rigorous program of study. As an FDP Candidate, you have, by proxy and intent, subscribed to this important end and we are committed to doing whatever we can to both ensure your well-being and preserve the integrity of our shared purpose, especially in these uncertain times.
While the COVID-19 pandemic continues to disrupt our lives and economies, we’ve been working diligently to enable you to sit for our exam as safely and as comfortably as possible. Like you, we’ve been closely watching for any updates that might provide a clearer picture of what the world will look like in the coming months and, unfortunately, ambiguity is the only constant. Yet, ambiguity is no reason for inaction, particularly for the FDP Institute where we have successfully learned, over the last several months, to best leverage technology to advance education, community, and industry growth.
The FDP Institute will continue to offer two exam options in the future.
Registered FDP candidates have two options to take the Q4-2020 FDP Exam:
To schedule your exam at a Prometric Testing Center
In the event that your exam is canceled, you will be eligible for option 2, to take the Remote Proctor exam on April 18th or 19th.
(only accessible for Registered FDP Candidates)
To schedule a Remotely Proctored Testing (RPT) Exam
* Deferments are not allowed and will not be granted to candidates who are unable to sit for the exam due to failure to schedule an appointment.
The FDP Institute cannot guarantee availability of any test center for any given exam. A candidate's chosen center may no longer be available when scheduling an examination appointment. Should this be the case, it is solely the candidate's responsibility to locate, and arrange for transportation to, an alternate testing center. Deferments are not allowed and will not be granted to candidates who are unable to sit for the exam due to failure to secure an exam appointment at either a physical or remote location.
