    Preparing
    We recommend the Candidate Orientation webinar.  Hossein Kazemi and Keith Black, recent FDP Charter holder discuss the curriculum, provide study tips and exam day preparation recommendations. 

    Register for the Exam 
    Make sure you have your current passport or driver's license with you when you register. The name on your government issued identification must be exactly the same as on your exam registration. Once you have registered you can log into your FDP account. CAIA members are eligible for a 20% discount of the registration fee.  Learn more. 

    Reserve Your Exam Seat 
    Through our partnership with Prometric, FDP has over 450 test locations around the globe. Considering global social distancing measures, our test partner Prometric implemented changes at their test locations: reduced seats and where possible extended opening hours.     Early seat reservation ensures availability on the date/ time that suits you most.

    Prepare for the exam 
    Follow the candidate study guide to ensure you direct your learning to the areas that matter. 

    Submit your online class certificates 
    Upon completion of your online classes, the provider will award you a Certificate of Completion. These can be submitted to certificates@fdpinstitute.org. After verification by the FDP staff you will receive a confirmation of receipt.

    Earn the FDP Charter
    Upon successful completion if the exam, you will be asked to submit the FDP Code of Ethics as well as two industry recommendations. After which you will receive your FDP Charter.
